2012 UK Athletics Grand Prix Series

The Perkins Great Eastern Run is one of just five races that are part of the UK Athletics 2012 Grand Prix Series.  There is over £55,000 in prize money available to UK runners.  Full details of the Grand Prix Series can be found by going to www.runbritain.com/grandprix

For the first time the Perkins Great Eastern Run will be offering prize money of £4,000 specifically for UK athletes only.  In addition we have also established some time bonus cash prizes for UK athletes that achieve sub-71 female and sub-64 male (click here for full details of the prizes). Our very flat course gives the top UK athletes the opportunity to achieve a PB and win one of the time bonus prizes on offer. 

Races in 2012 that are part of the Grand Prix Series are:

• Mizuno Reading Half Marathon

• Bupa London 10K

• Admiral Swansea Bay 10k

• Bristol Half Marathon

• Perkins Great Eastern Run

Benefits include:

• Points for the first 250 male and 250 female finshers

• Prize money of £15,000 for overall series top ten male and female Brits

• Entries reserved for Grand Prix point scores until 30 days before the event

• Time bonus points at each Grand Prix event
