We are once again pleased to be supporting Anna's Hope as part of the Junior Challenge, but children can run to raise funds for any cause they choose, be it their own preferred charity or school/club funds etc or just for the fun of running. We have kept the entry fee for 16 years old and under at £5 for the 2012 race.

The school, club or organisation that enters the most runners in the Junior Challenge will receive a valuable gift from Sainsbury's.  In 2011 the Voyager Academy entered the most U16s in the Junior Challenge and won a large flatscreen television from Sainsbury's. They also won a team kit worth £500 from Chroma Sport for raising the most money for Anna's Hope. Two members of Stamford-based Dance School Jem's Hip-Hop won Wii games, courtesy of Sainsbury's for individually raising the most money for Anna's Hope.   There are also other prizes on offer for children and schools/clubs that raise the most money for Anna's Hope. 

In 2012, prizes are up for grabs for groups who raise the most money for local charity Anna's Hope and those that enter the largest team. School teams or any young groups, people's groups such as brownies, clubs or youth groups can enter the Junior Challenge. Young runners can raise money for whichever charity they choose, but can only win additional prizes, a team kit, or a Wii game, when raising money for Anna's Hope, courtesy of Sainsbury's and Chroma Sport.  

Sainsbury's will also donate a prize to the club/school that has the largest number of 16 year olds and under runing on their behalf, they must state their club/school at the time of entry.

To enter, download an application form here and return to the race office with the appropriate fee (£5) and don't forget to fill in details of which school, club etc you are running for to ensure you qualify for the prizes. If no school or club etc is entered on the form then it will not count towards the prizes.
